Privacy policy

DrawMeter is a static website. Its pages are built in advance and served the same way to every visitor. There are no accounts, no sign-up forms, no comments and no newsletter, so we never ask for your name, phone number, email address or payment details. This policy describes the little information that is collected when you visit, and why.

Visit statistics: Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used: which pages are read, how visitors arrive, roughly which country and city they are in, what kind of device and browser they use, and which links and buttons they click, including the bookmaker link and the button that copies the promo code. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser, with names that begin with _ga, so that repeat visits can be counted.

We look at these figures in summary to decide which pages are useful and what to improve. We do not use them to identify anyone, and we do not combine them with other information about you. Google processes the data under its own privacy terms, and Google's own policies explain how it handles information from sites that use its services.

You can avoid these cookies by blocking or deleting cookies in your browser settings, by using a private browsing window, or with a browser add-on that blocks analytics. The site works the same without them.

Server logs

Like nearly every website, the servers that deliver DrawMeter keep standard access logs: the IP address of the request, the page requested, the time, and the browser's own description of itself. These logs are used to keep the site running, to deal with abuse and to count visits to the bookmaker link. They are kept for a limited time and are not used to build profiles of visitors.

The bookmaker link

Some buttons take you to the bookmaker Megapari through an affiliate link. When you follow one, the link passes through our own address first and then on to the bookmaker with a tag that tells it the visit came from this site. From that point you are on the bookmaker's website, under its own privacy policy and cookies. If you open an account there, the bookmaker, not DrawMeter, holds your details. We may receive a report of how many accounts were opened through our link, without names or personal details.

Children

The site is meant for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone younger.

Your choices and changes

Because we hold no accounts, most information about a visit sits with Google Analytics and in short-lived server logs, and the simplest control is in your own browser.
